What a wild run this show was! Nine shows over two weekends and every one of them sold out! It was hard to get tickets this time! Put these kids together with their directors, Doug and Kristin, and you are in for an awesome show! Hannah played the parts of a candy shop kid named Matilda and an oompa-loompa. Mason ran the sound for the show for her first time! It was really a great show! And guess what? Tonight we start rehearsal for the next show, Alice in Wonderland! Hannah will be part of the chorus and Mason is one Cheshire cat! (Did I spell that right?)
These shows make for a good bit of driving for us but it is so worth it! To think that these girls started out so shy in life and that they now have no reservations when it comes to belting out a Capella audition songs, or being on the stage in front of a live audience! I truly think that they think of Cardboard Playhouse Productions as their second home and second family!

Erin,
Thank you so much for sharing your family with my theatre family. I always enjoy working with them and Mason did a GREAT job of working crew. I'm sure Alice is going to be magnificent!
Also, thank you for blogging about their theatre experiences. It's so nice to see it from the outside sometimes. :)
Kristin
