Ski Day in Santa Fe

This was the most beautiful I have ever seen the Santa Fe ski area. They got 12 inches in the past 24 hours and it was a winter wonderland. It was perfect powder skiing, but unfortunately, we only did three runs because the lines were ridiculously long. The top of the mountain still isn’t open so everyone is lining up for only two lifts. We will try again when another storm comes (this weekend) and the tourists go home.

Happy 24 to Mason!!

This lovely, kind, caring, empathetic, gentle human is 24 today! We celebrated with a visit to Santa Fe (the kids took the train), dinner at La Choza, and looking at the luminarias and Christmas lights around the Santa Fe plaza. Now, sadly, we have to let her head to Seattle for the rest of her break with Jay’s family.

Merry Christmas!

We had Christmas at home, watching home movies, cooking, opening gifts, and playing games. Mason and Jay made an amazing chicken and Yule log cake.

Christmas Eve!

We had our traditional Christmas Eve lunch at Pappadeaux (Granny’s favorite), then dinner in Dana’s
new kitchen and dining room! The Taboo game, as usual, got wild!

Cookie Decorating Party!

I so enjoy hanging with these crazy people! Today was no exception AND, although I have no photos for proof, we were all so excited to have my friend Flora join us, too!
