Junior Year Move-In!

We spent the last couple of days moving Dylan into his rental house for junior year at ASU. It's his first year in off campus housing and he found a house to rent with three friends. He has his own room and bathroom and there is even a pool in the yard. I have no idea how anyone survives the heat in Arizona, though. It was 115 degrees as we ran around town buying a desk and taking care of other needs for the house. We also went to a baseball game, fortunately inside an air-conditioned building. Dylan came home with us and will officially start living in his house in a week or two. I vote for two, but he's pretty ready to get back to his college life, and as much as we will miss him, I'm thankful that he has lots of friends at home (the summer was spent with a houseful of boys here every night playing poker) and also lots of friends at school. Here's to another successful year of college!

Tubing on Clear Creek in Golden, Colorado!

We had so much fun tubing on Clear Creek in Colorado! Here are some pictures and videos on the less wild parts of the river. I had to get my phone in the dry bag quick before we hit little waterfalls and got drenched. The water temperature was perfect and the only thing that made us cold was a summer monsoon storm. The river was not too wild and not too tame, just right!

Beach/ Surfing Day!

We spent Monday morning at the beach and India brought a surfboard for Dylan to use. I was not able to get pictures of him catching waves because I was swimming in the water, but he had success. After, he warmed up under the sand with some help being buried by Quin. Honora came over to check out Dylan's toes, took one look at them and declared, "I'm done with this game"!

 

California Family Visit!

We went to a family gathering in California (minus Mason, who had to stay behind for work). All of Andy's sibling's grandbabies were able to be there together so we got to meet the ones we had not met yet. I was super excited to get my baby fix in with Scott's 6 month old twins!
