Orchestra Elementary School Tour!
Each year, the advanced middle school orchestra tours the elementary schools that feed into our mid school, hoping to interest the fifth graders into taking orchestra or band in middle school next year. They play popular movie themes and other songs that interest the younger kids. I love to tag along and listen. The past two years, it was Mason who was playing but now it is Hannah.

12!
Well, it is official: HQ is 12! She spent this last year transitioning out of little girl-ness and into a new version of herself. Although some of that road was rocky at times, she has evolved into such an incredible bigger person and I am so proud of her! She is smart, patient, kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand. She is my little grocery buddy, my hot tub buddy, and is always full of creative conversation. I'm so glad to call her mine!

Playing in the Hot Tub!
Well, if you are looking for these three, you are going to have to look in the back yard! The only thing that gets them out of the hot tub is hunger. They got in as soon as school ended, got out a few hours later for dinner, and got back in until bed time. Fortunately, none of them had very much homework.

First Basketball Game!
The boy was very nervous before his first game. Spending a little bit of time with his best buddy helped.
This league is non-competitive and very sweet with the boys. The first half of the game was confusing for Dylan-- there is a lot more to think about in basketball than soccer, but by the second half, he was getting it a lot better.
