Weekend Hike!

Dylan has been so overloaded with school work this entire year. Each class has nightly homework and huge projects and it can be hard to find time to squeeze much else in around that and piano practice (he is getting ready to audition for the National Piano Guild again). It was so nice to finish two big projects on Saturday and find time to take a hike to help get his head above water before the next big project is assigned.

Deep Sea Fandango!

Dylan's middle school Intermediate Orchestra played three songs at this year's music performance assessment. This one is his favorite.  They played well and did very well at sight reading a new song as part of the assessment.

A 50’s Night Out!

Mason and her friends dressed up and went out roller skating and to a diner. She sent me these pictures.

Last Basketball Game!

This kid has played Upward basketball for five years now. Today was his final game of the season and with this league. He went from a boy who barely made a basket the whole season to one who made seven baskets in his final game! It has been so much fun to watch him grow as a player.

This little kitten has the most expressive face and eyes! Can you tell which picture shows that she was DONE with pictures and being held? (And when she is DONE with something, look out because Feisty Kitten comes out and that is SCARY!!! Well, scary and cute...)
