Looking at the Ebbelpents!

Dylan's speech is expanding at an amazing rate these days! He is using many complete sentences, from shorter ones like "Wait for Mae-Mae," "Don't leave Hannah," and "I am going down," to longer ones like "That black goggie (doggie) is waiting" and "That big truck scared me." He uses most pronouns correctly and uses many prepositions. Still, thank goodness, there are many wonderful mispronunciations. Here is one of my favorites!

Summer Rain!

There is nothing like a good soaking summer storm! The girls found their fun in the street, playing in the rain water as it raced downhill. The boy, on the other hand, found an irresistable puddle and before we knew it, he was sitting in it, splashing in it, sticking his face in it... You'd think we'd never seen rain before!

The Annual Trip to Cliff's!

Last night, after waiting out a huge thunderstorm, we went to do the rides at Cliff's. Mason is now the master of roller coasters and went on the "Rattler" four times!!! Yikes!! Dylan was big enough to try the rides this year for the first time. He liked most of them, but we had to have the "Frog Hopper" operater stop the ride to let him off in the middle. I knew it would be too much for him, but he was so insistent after watching the girls ride it over and over so we let him try...

Face Painting at the Festival!

"Lavender in the Village" Festival!

What fun we had at the lavender festival at Los Poblanos! There were fairy houses everywhere and the girls even got to take a class about making fairy furniture!

A New Talent: Jammin' Guitar Master

Dylan has taken to "playing the cook-car" (guitar) everywhere he goes! If he can find somethng to use as a "cook-car" (like a basket side table), he will carry it around , humming as he strums. If not, he is happy to strum on his chest. We are not sure where this comes from--he hasn't seen that many people play the guitar! I guess I need to search for a little tot guitar for him to carry around...
