Hiking in Jemez Springs!

We set out to go to the hot springs today, but we chose the longer, straight uphill and not clearly marked trail and finally gave up. Our legs feel like noodles! You can see that the boy was not pleased, but there is nothing that eating lunch in the river can’t fix!

Nambe Falls!

We did the upper and lower trails to Nambe Falls today. The upper trail was nice, but the lower trail was amazing! Half of the hike is through the river! Good thing we knew this and wore water shoes! Hannah and Dylan climbed up to the higher falls, but it was so crowded that the rest of us just waited for them in the lower pool. We are hoping to go back on a week day to avoid the large crowd and do more climbing.

Dog Wash Day!

These dogs were hot AND filthy, so what better way to clean them and cool off ourselves? Unfortunately, my girls reverted back to a middle school maturity level towards the end... 🙄
