Yesterday was this little person’s 23rd birthday! I had hoped to fly to Seattle to be with her on her birthday, but her work schedule got in the way so instead, I’m going in a couple of weeks. We did our “bake a cake on FaceTime” tradition, though, so it was second best to being together. Maybe next year, we can celebrate this amazing human properly on her actual birthday!
