Look at the turtle I rescued from the middle of the road! Ironically, while we were gone, a random stranger left a tortoise about this size in a box on our front porch and he now lives with us.
This was a LONG driving trip! Lots of time was spent in the car!

We visited the home of Andrew Jackson, but it was too hot to take more than a couple of pictures. Seriously, it is a wonder that we survived the heat that day.
We were lucky enough to get to meet the oldest of the cousins, Jennifer, for breakfast. She just happened to be traveling through Nashville while we were there!
Liquid nitrogen ice cream sure is yummy!
So was this chili dog and onion rings at Fitz's! He couldn't even finish half of his plate.
