We spent our spring break in Louisiana and stayed at Fairview Riverside State Park in our camper. One of the most fun things is the abundance of reptiles and amphibians! Dylan had fun with lizards, frogs and turtles. He even had a close call with a Water Moccasin. He was playing in the puddles after a huge storm and spied a head sticking out of the water. Thinking it was a turtle, he reached for it and it turned out to be a poisonous snake! We did not catch that one!
What better use for a lizard than scaring a sister?

This baby came home with us! We did not want him to be eaten by an alligator!
