For his birthday, Dylan, our dog lover, was given the gift of being a zoo parent to an African Wild Dog by our friends, Christina and Mary-Ann. Today was a zoo parent celebration at the zoo. The highlight was when Dylan tried to call "his" wild dog over to him using his "whistle" that he calls Boudreaux with. (I'll have to record and post this noise...)

Goodbye Girls...

I'm missing my lovely girls! They went to spend the weekend with Granny for the first time on their own! It is a quiet house around here... I don't think I will survive "empty nest" time when it comes.
