Really and truly, I said no to these gerbils. We already have a cat, a bunny, a turtle, and a very large and STRONG dog. Still, I found that I was outnumbered as we stood at the pet store looking at them. So, my deal is that the girls are totally in charge of the cleaning and feeding, which has gone well so far...
