Our first night camping was in Anza Borrego, near San Diego. It was a desert campground and probably very hot in the summer! It was beautiful and we got to listen to the coyotes yipping all night! The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and playing in the dirt. Fortunately, there was a pay shower at the campground. The girls opted out of using it but the boy was too young and too dirty to have a choice this time! (Dylan was very helpful taking down the camper!)
