Crawfish Boil!

We had crawfish on our last night!  Goodness, were they delicious!  Mason must have eaten 7 trays! Hannah and Dylan loved them, too!  We also had a birthday cake for the other Dylan because it was two days until his 7th birthday!

Playing on the Lakefront!

I completely love these pictures of the Nerd Family!  Mason started the trend by walking around the house in 3-D glasses with the plastic popped out so it was only natural that after seeing "Oz" in 3-D, the rest of the family joined her in showing our true nerdy colors.

The Swamp Walk!

We took our usual walk through the swamp but this time, I did not end up with a concussion.  The vines on the trees were interesting but I have learned my lesson trying to swing from them.  We did see some lizards, turtles, and a cottonmouth snake.

Spring Break in Louisiana!

There are so many pictures that I am not sure where to start or how to group them!  We just returned from a week long trip to Mandeville to visit my family and enjoy the south a bit.  This time, our good friends, the Foleys, came along with us.  They stayed at a hotel but we spent our hotel money housing our dogs at the kennel so we stayed at Fairview Riverside State Park in our camper.  I really love that campground!  Our site backed to the swamp, which has a boardwalk through it.  It is also right on the Tchefuncta River.  The shower rooms are very nice and clean and easy to use.  It rained on us our first day but cleared up for the rest of the trip.  These photos are all at the campground.
