Dylan is driving on his own now! He has been waiting for this moment for a long time. I’m just sitting over here trying not to have a broken heart that I’m finished driving my last kid.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving made extra special by having the four college kids home telling us about their adventures away at school. There was a void without Granny, who would have loved nothing better than being together with all of her people, hearing about their lives, and planning and cooking a delicious meal, but I know she was there in spirit and I know she would have been impressed with Mason’s cornbread dressing following her recipe.

 

First Snow of the Year!

We took our new Mercedes Sprinter camper van up into the mountains to see the fresh snow. It is beyond wonderful having the girls home from college and the whole family together.  

 

Mason in NYC!

Mason went to New York City with Jay and guess what! She was invited by Taylor Nation to attend a special Taylor Swift event! She got to go watch the first showing of Taylor’s new short film and Taylor performed her new long version of All Too Well! There was not a meet and greet after, but Mason was thrilled just to have been invited and loved the performance and the film.
