A lot can be accomplished in the snow when you have a two hour school delay! A Snow Woman, snow ball fights, sledding in our front yard, and fun with neighbors!

Santa and Dylan!

Dylan insisted that he would rather write a letter to Santa than go visit that scary guy, but when we ran into Santa at the mall, there was no hesitation! He ran right up and started talking to him. When Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas, Dylan said, "jewelry!". I sure hope that dear Santa knows to translate that to "pirate booty".

More From "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"!

Hannah's best friend was in this show, too! It made it all that much fun for Hannah!
Watching the crazy antics of those naughty Herdman children...

Alice Wendelken keeps a list of all the bad things that the Herdmans do so that she will have all the proof of what made this the worst Christmas pageant ever...

Her friend Beth reads her notes.
Taking notes..

Alice is shocked at something that a Herdman said!

The pageant turns out to be lovely in the end, even with the Herdman children playing the lead roles!

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! (Mason and Hannah's latest theatre adventure)

Imogene Herdman just told Mason (aka Alice Wendleken) that she will shove a pussy willow down her ear if she raises her hand to be Mary in the Christmas pageant.
Above, Mason is telling her friend what Imogene said and why she did not volunteer to play Mary.

Mason's character is very stuck-up and she is explaining to her friend that she doesn't think anyone should say that Mary was "pregnant". It is much better to say "great with child". She's not even supposed to talk about being pregnant, especially in church...

Hannah plays Beverly, a member of the angel choir.

She is cute as can be in her angel costume.

Singing in the pageant...
and complaining about how terribly the naughty Herdmans are doing in their roles.
