Another Little Louisiana Adventure!

This Louisiana boardwalk was flooded out so Dylan took off his shoes and went to investigate.

 

He came back pretty quickly when he saw a water moccasin curled up on the planks.  That made Andy so excited that he did not bother taking his shoes off and ran across the water to check it out.  I missed that photo op, but I did get one of him on the return back through the water (below).  It was quite a sight!

 

We saw five of these babies that day.  No catching critters for Dylan this trip!  These guys are highly venomous!

Louisiana!

We just got back from spring break in Louisiana!  These pictures are at our campground Easter morning.  I don't have any pictures, but the Easter Bunny had to leave baskets and eggs in our camper because it was raining all night!  When it cleared up, we took a walk in the swamp.  Dylan's agenda this trip was catching critters.  That is why you will see him upside down in many of the pictures I will be posting in the next few days.  He was pretty successful on his mission!
