Dylan has renamed Boudreaux. His new name is "Thunder". When I asked why Thunder, he said because his bark sounds like thunder. He can be heard in the back yard shouting, "Come along, Thunder!!!"

Taos!

We just got back from a week in Taos at Granny's house! Our friends joined us for the first couple of nights. Dylan and his buddy, The Other Dylan, had lots of fun playing together in another place! Here are some photos of our trip and many more are coming!

5th Grade DARE Graduation!

Today was Mason's elementary school graduation, a bittersweet day. I am so proud of this incredible girl! (and, no, she was not sitting in front of the "o" on purpose, although she is not thrilled about moving on to middle school).

School Dance!

Today was the elementary school dance. Dylan and I went to Hannah's grade level dance in the morning and then back in the afternoon for Mason's grade lavel. The girls had fun, well, sort of... The guy alternated between being a wall flower, torturing his sisters, and deciding that he had had enough and needed to check out. Unfortunately, I am still suffering from a bad back after throwing it out Saturday night so Mason had to hold him!

Have I mentioned the huge pie fight at the end of this show? Dylan might not have understood the bottom line of the show, but he knew that if he waited until the end, he could go wild with silly string and that was all that mattered...

Isn't she looking older? Maybe it is that tooth out in the front, but my little girl is growing too fast. That said, I am loving her age so much. She is full of conversation and so incredibly insightful.
