New Furry Friends!

 

San Pedro!

We visited the ocean near Royal Palms and near Andy’s childhood home, Dylan used the Bobcat to move a pile of dirt, and Andy, Susan and Steven built the arch for Steven’s upcoming wedding. We also checked out our college Plan C in case Dylan wants to start at Harbor and transfer into a UC, and we toured a school of interest, Chapman University.

 

Phoenix!

Andy, Dylan, and I started out on a road trip yesterday and made it to Camp Verde. We woke up in the morning and went to a Barrett Honors College at ASU tour, then hit a Dodgers spring training game in the afternoon. Mason and Jay were also in Phoenix to go to two nights in a row of Taylor Swift concerts. We met then briefly for lunch today. This day is also the two year mark of losing my mom. A day has not passed that I haven’t thought of her and how tremendously lucky I was to be her daughter. She was the embodiment of kindness, empathy, joy, and generosity. She would have loved to come on this trip with us, but she probably would have been reading a book during the baseball game!
