Practicing A Waltz!

Here is what Dylan has been working on over the summer.  He is getting close, but is still working on the dynamic and on the almost impossible task of playing each hand at a separate volume.  The left hand needs to be softer and the right needs to follow the waltz pattern of soft, loud, louder.  He'll get there and this is a great start.  Hopefully he will let me film when he pulls it all together!

High School Open House!

I love this picture of Andy figuring out where to go to the girls' classes on a school map.  We had to divide up the high school open house classes now that we have two kids in high school.  I must admit that he took very good notes in the classes I missed...

End Of Summer Senior Fun!

I'm so happy that Mason and her friends share their pictures with me!  I would hate to have to stalk them everywhere they went just to keep up with my blog.

After a fun evening of games, here is the first day of school.

The big ones drove to school together for the first time!  Dylan and I missed Hannah's presence on our morning ride.

Last Day Before School Starts!

Hannah and Haley let me get the beginning of school picture that we have gotten for many years on their registration day.  I did not go to registration with the senior but I instructed her to get pictures for me.  Of course, the pictures have nothing to do with school other than they are at the lunch they went to after registering... 

Quick Denver Trip!

We took a two night trip to Denver primarily to tour UC Denver and Denver University, but we also went to a Dodger's game and did some shopping.

New Haircut!

She has not been willing to let me do a photo shoot with her yet, so all I can share is a selfie and a snapchat picture she sent me... It looks so cute, though!  As soon as Mason saw it, she exclaimed, "Oh, Hannah, this is the cutest you've ever been!" Hmmmm...

Cursed Child!

This was one very exciting day!  We have been anticipating the release of this book for many months.  After all, you can never get enough Harry Potter!  Mason brought it home and finished it in a few hours.
