On the 100th Day of School!

Hogwarts Year Two: 11th Birthday Party!

This year, Hannah had her second Harry Potter birthday party.  The kids visited Diagon Alley and bought sweets at our sweet shop (chocolate frogs, licorice wands, Bertie Bott's every flavor beans, etc.) and got hand crafted wands at the wand shop.  There was a magical creature class, a Tri-Wizard tournament, Quidditch, a feast, and of course, cake!  It was a wild and crazy time!

Yesterday was this sweet little girl's 11th birthday!  She is the only kid in our family who has to go to school on her birthday so we had to make it special anyway.  So-- we started the day with grilled Nutella and strawberry sandwiches.  Then I went and had lunch at school with her (Subway--her favorite).  After school, we decided on a whim to go to Gravity Park, the new trampoline park in town.  That was followed by dinner at Hayashi with Granny.  Lots of fun, but three tired kids trudged off to school this morning...

Christmas is over so these are the last holiday photos I will post.  I just thought it would be wrong to not post pictures of the main entertainment.  Legos were the theme this year--Dylan got many sets and now that he has finished them all, he ordered more with his gift card money.  He keeps saying, "I can't wait until tomorrow when my new Legos arrive".  He and Hannah also spent lots of time free building with Legos provided by their aunt.  (Thanks, Aunt Rosemary!)
