15!

This sweet girl turned 15 on Friday.  I do not have any good pictures of the day so let these suffice.  They were taken on my iPhone.  There is so much to say about this girl, about her kindness, her independence, her love of life and her insight into things beyond her years.  She is a joy to be around and still likes hanging out with us!  I am so thankful to be her mommy!  (and she still calls me "Mommy"!)

15th Birthday Party!

On Friday night, we celebrated Mason's upcoming 15th birthday!  It turned out to be perfect timing because it was also the last day of school before winter break and the last day of a grueling week of finals for the girls.  Mason decorated as though it was the backstage party that Taylor Swift throws after her concerts.  She had games, dinner, cake, and best of all, loud karaoke and movies until 4:30am!!!  I know I say it a lot, but I am so happy with this group of friends.  They are so down to earth and supportive of each other without ever having any typical teenage girl drama.
