Halloween Piano Recital!

We hosted a Halloween piano recital for all of our piano teacher's little students (and a couple of her bigger ones)!  We got to listen to 17 spooky little players!  Mason was in charge of announcing the program and telling us a little bit about the origin of Halloween.  Hannah was in charge of wrangling the players and sending them out when it was their turn.  Their friends helped them to run games-- the dangling donut game, a pumpkin prize walk and Halloween bingo.  Thanks to all who brought food and helped make it the frightfully awesome recital that it was!

WWF at the Balloon Park!

We went to the balloon park last night for the special shapes glow but it was too windy for the balloons to glow.  I guess all of that open grassy space was too enticing for two little boys and a full on wrestling match ensued.  Top that with some sword fighting after dark and a fireworks show and you've got the perfect night.  Really, these pictures do not do the wrestling justice.  They were tackling each other, rolling on the floor, and laughing through the whole thing.  Boys can be very interesting creatures...
