This is huge for us considering that this little guy refused to even go on the field two years ago.  Now he goes out there and really enjoys it!  It just goes to show you that patience plays such a big role in your child's development.  They are ready when they are ready.

I've Got The First Day Blues...

But apparently, the kids don't.  8th grade, 5th grade and 1st grade started today and everyone was pretty excited about it.  Dylan's only reservation was that I could not go with him.  Mason is a WEB leader at school, which means that she has her own little group of sixth graders to help around the school.

His sisters have been learning to cook and he has been asking for his turn.  He chose to make meatballs because they are so much fun to roll into balls.  He did it almost all by himself and they were so yummy!

Winter's New Cousin, Ollie!

Winter's sweetness and gentle soul amaze me.  I have never seen him be unkind to another dog, not even one that could be mistaken for his favorite chase animal, the rabbit!  He even seemed a bit afraid of Tiny Ollie!
