Granny's Big Birthday Bash!

I worked on a surprise birthday party for Granny for four months! Friday was the big night! Family and friends from Louisiana, Long Island, Mississippi and here in New Mexico all arrived at 4:30 and began the excruciating wait for Granny to arrive. Believe me, we had been on pins and needles about this party since Tuesday night when Granny landed in the ER with a dislocated hip. Yep, it was a bit too late to cancel the party. Fortunately, by Friday, she was feeling a bit better and the party really cheered her up!

Today, the girls had a performance for a group of very small school kids. They did not do this show in full costume but it was still great!

We had such fun with Briget's family at the Aquarium! We feel so honored that Briget always finds time to see us when she visits, even with all the pressures of seeing her many family members. Our kids really enjoy hers! Unfortunately, Dylan is not allowing me to take his picture these days so he did not cooperate with the group photos... (not a good thing for a picture taking girl like myself...)
