Hannah's Birthday Party!
On Saturday, Hannah had her birthday party here at the house. She chose a flower fairy theme and everyone came dressed as lovely little fairies. Each child had a fairy cupcake of her own and got to make little flower fairies out of pipe cleaners, plastic flower petals, wooden beads and yarn hair. We also had a fairy show up who was missing all kinds of parts from wings to shoes and her skirt and hair. Luckily, the kids were able to find all of her missing parts and attach them so now, she is (...ahem...) beautiful! Mason and her friend Julia were wonderful helpers throughout the whole party. Dylan was just happy to finally get his hands on one of those cupcakes that he had been eyeing all morning... Fun was had by all and tomorrow, Hannah will be six!

Car Entertainment...
Dylan was such a trooper on this long car trip. Two days there and two days back and he was perfectly content for most of it! At one point on the way home, he figured out that it was fun to blow bubbles and that kept him busy for a good 25 minutes! Otherwise, his mommy rode next to him and played with him the whole time. He became quite a whiz at puzzles and loved reading books together.

Christmas Party in California!
We are back from our wonderful trip and ready to blog! Wow, it will be quite the job with over 330 photos to choose from. I decided to begin with the Christmas party at Aunt Susan and Uncle Pete's house. 16 of the 17 cousins were there as well as most of the aunts and uncles and Grandma and Grandpa. Everyone had a good time, ate good food and played fun games. We were proud to once again provide the family with the one toddler who tries to escape from the cousin photo. This has been the case since Mason was a tot and the tradition lives on...
